By downloading, installing, or using SidePanel for Browsers ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
SidePanel for Browsers is a Windows desktop application that adds a native sidebar to your browser, allowing you to pin web applications (such as WhatsApp, Gmail, and Notion) as persistent floating panels with their own login sessions. It works with any Chromium-based browser set as your Windows default — Edge, Chrome, Brave, Opera, or Vivaldi.
The App is currently free, with every feature included. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or in-app purchases at this time. If that changes in a future version, these Terms will be updated to describe the new pricing before any purchase option is introduced.
You agree not to use the App to:
The App's source code is published under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0. Compiling the App yourself from source for personal use is permitted under that license; this is documented in our public repository.
The App is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every configuration of Windows or your browser.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
The App allows you to load third-party websites inside its panels. We have no control over, and no responsibility for, the content, privacy practices, or availability of those third-party websites.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
